A free plugin with TONS of presets available.  Great for every style of genre, the amount of presets you have to choose from in this free plugin will last you a very long time.

Comes with over 2,700 presets.  Everything in this plugin sounds “synth-y” though.  As in, you wont find many realistic strings and orchestra sounds, but the vast variety of presets means that you will find lots of melodic synths that pair well with realistic sounds like that.
